The Watertown Area Association for Special Citizens (WAASC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of those in our community with special needs. Founded in 1975 by Rocco Calabrese, WAASC has served individuals in the greater Watertown, CT area for nearly five decades, offering a variety of educational and social activities that promote inclusion, personal growth, and community connection. Officially recognized as a non-profit in 1994, the organization continues to build on its mission to support and empower those with special needs.
